Sacred Embers

A few Sacred Embers jewelry pieces and their precious stories...
Today I presented this Sacred Embers to Lulu's mom. Although it is bittersweet, Lulu gave her mom and I a wonderful friendship. We are both grateful, and I am so happy that she loves her pendant.
Carolyn Osborne made my memorial pendant for my dog. She was amazing to work with. It wasn't the kind of thing where I mailed a baggie of ashes to someone across the country and got a pendant back that was randomly produced. She sat down with me and talked with me about my dog: what he was like, my favorite memories, his favorite things, and what made him special. She spent several hours with me before making my personalized piece. When the piece was ready to be picked up, she spent another several hours with me talking about my dog. My experience wasn't just placing an order. It was respecting and honoring the bond I had with my dog and having someone sharing in my loss with me. Having someone do that when you're grieving "just a dog" is HUGE. My pendant is a cherished piece of art produced by someone who truly loves what she does and does it well. When I'm wearing it, I can feel not only my dog with me, but the love and support of the woman who helped me keep my dog with me and near my heart. I cannot recommend Carolyn and Sacred Embers highly enough.
These earrings allowed a young woman to walk down the aisle with her beloved father at her wedding.
This Sacred Embers pendant was created for a woman whose husband serves in the military and is away quite often. This piece has some of his hair and sand from Hawaii where they had been stationed before. Now when he is away from her she can keep him close to her heart at all times!
A hint of red in this memorial keepsake pendant reminds the wearer of her mom.
This bracelet was made in honor of a dear friend who had passed. Being able to take her friend along on adventures is so perfect for the wearer of the bracelet.
